We believe an off-road adventure should be exciting, comfortable, and accessible to everyone—even if you have never driven a UTV, do not want to navigate unfamiliar desert terrain, or simply want to relax and enjoy the ride. That is why Wilds of Arizona does not rent machines for guests to drive. Every experience is a fully guided, driver-led tour. You ride as a passenger while one of our licensed, permitted tour guides drives our off-road side-by-side vehicle on approved Forest Service routes.

Our guides are authorized to operate on the routes we use, CPR certified, and knowledgeable about the landscapes, history, wildlife, and desert life that make this part of Arizona so special. They do more than drive: they help turn a rough-and-tumble off-road ride into a true Arizona experience. Along the way, guests can learn about the Sonoran Desert, towering saguaros, desert plants, local landmarks, mining and canyon history, and the mountain views that surround the Valley.

Depending on the tour route and conditions, you may travel through rugged backcountry near Bulldog Canyon and the Superstition Mountains, where the scenery includes dramatic ridgelines, saguaro-studded hillsides, and expansive views across the East Valley. Each route is chosen to provide a balance of adventure, beautiful scenery, and a comfortable guided experience.
