For groups who want more comfort, our Ash Creek Canyon cabin sleeps up to 10 guests and is also booked through Hipcamp. You’ll have real beds, shelter from the elements, and easy access to the same creek, trails, and canyon views as our campsites. It’s a great option for families, multi‑generation trips, or friends who want a cozy base after a day of exploring the property and surrounding area.

How many people can sleep in the Cabin in Ash Creek Canyon?

The Ash Creek Canyon mining cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.

- There are 2 bedrooms, each with one queen bed.

- A third bedroom has 2 queen beds.

- The living room has a sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 people.

Altogether, that’s 5 queen beds plus a sleeper sofa, making it a great fit for families, friend groups, or small retreats looking to share one spacious cabin.

 

Is the kitchen fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses etc.?

The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook comfortably without overpacking.

- Cookware, bakeware, cooking utensils, grill accessories

-Dishes, bowls, glassware, and silverware

-Paper products for easy cleanup: paper plates, paper bowls, Solo‑style cups, and plastic silverware

- Basic pantry items: cooking oil, a selection of spices, salt, and pepper

- Coffee station with coffee, sugar, sweeteners, and creamers

- Cleaning supplies: dish soap and dishwasher tabs

You’re welcome to bring any favorite specialty items, but most guests find the kitchen has everything they need for their stay.

 

Does the cabin have heating and air conditioning?

Yes! The cabin is equipped with a whole house propane heater for the main areas and front bedrooms.  There is also a window heating unit for the back bedroom.  For the summer months the cabin is air conditioned by two large window air conditioning units.  All temperatures can be adjusted by our guests.
